The Westhoughton Local History Group 32 page A4 booklet entitled "Places of Historic Interest in Westhoughton"briefly describes the history of old farms, churches, public houses, schools, buildings, railway stations and major historical events together with relevant images. Westhoughton's grade II listed buildings are also illustrated.

Several maps show the locations of these historic places. Copies of the booklet, priced £6, can be obtained from the Westhoughton public library or by attending one of our meetings advertised on the facebook page or contacting the WLHG via the websites.
